Cellulite is the common name given to the dimpled, lumpy appearance of the skin over the thighs and buttocks, which gives flesh an uneven appearance comparable to orange peel or cottage cheese.
Cellulite is caused by superficial fascial thickening, shortening and contraction cross linking and adhesions resulting in “adipose” or fat pockets creating a depression that creates the appearance of lumpy, dimpled areas on the lower body characterizing cellulite.
How Is Cupping Used to Help With Cellulite?
Cupping is used to bring micro-circulation (fresh blood, oxygen hydration and heat) to the area to assist in draining out the old stagnant sticky fluids, soften the fascia allowing a remodeling of the tissue to smooth out the area allowing the adipose or fat cells to flatten out which diminishes the appearance of cellulite.

Cupping is used in High End Spa's as Cellulite reducing treatments and now can be used at home as a DIY Non-Invasive Natural Treatment. Results vary from person to person as your fascial health will determine whether you get immediate results or if it takes a 1-4 weeks to see results. Your Fascia is the webbing that surrounds and intertwines the open space within your body including your organs, muscles and adipose (fat) tissue.
This fascia (in a healthy state) should be moist and change shapes easily and regularly. If this fascia has become unhealthy, then it can become dry and compressed, harden and loose its ability to reshape on its own. So if your adipose (fat) cells get trapped within an area of fascia that is drying up, hardening , constricting and inflexible, then the fat cell will begin to get "bunched" up. Kinda like when you have. a half filled balloon with air and you can squeeze one side of the balloon and all the air and shape move to the other side of the balloon. It is no long evenly distributed, but all bunched up in a smaller area. Well this is what can happen to the fat cells and as a result, you see the bunched up area raised on the surface of the skin. It's that dimpling and unevenness. The natural way to deal with that is as it would seem... hydrate the fascia so it's moist again, if it's moist again, then it will more easily be able to change shape and if it is able to change shape, then the fat cell should be able to relax into a more smooth well distributed area.
To do that, you need moisture, heat and to reshape the fascia. That's where cupping comes in. The suction causes the capillaries to dilate bringing fresh blood to the area. The fresh blood brings heat to the area. So now that we have increased the hydration and brought in the heat, all that is left is to reshape the fascia. Cups are then moved in a gliding motion. Massage the area with the cups over and over again. Increasing the depth of the cupping as the tissue softens. Intensifying the heat with the gliding motion. Moving the cups in linear (forward and backward) motions, moving the cups perpendicular (side to side), moving the cups in a linear motion while adding in circular and figure 8 movements.
The tissue begins to get pink and then red. The tissue is hot to the touch and the dimples on the skin begin to smooth and flatten out. You would cup more frequently to begin with and after 2-4 weeks, you can drop to a maintenance cupping schedule of 1-2 days a week.
First and foremost, we recommend you perform your cupping in an area or position that is comfortable for you.
Some Prefer Standing using oil, lotion or cream Some Prefer laying on the bed using oil, lotion or cream And some prefer performing their cellulite cupping treatment in the shower with body wash.
Your going to get the best results if you are consistent, if you are bringing the heat, and if you are using various movements with the cup. So you choose the right location and the right position that will allow you to do this comfortably and with consistency.
Our staff all prefer the shower with the body wash. The first reason is because the cups stay attached and glide so much easier with body wash. The second reason is most people take a shower everyday, so if the cups are in your shower it is easier to be more consistent with your cellulite cupping.
For Cellulite Cupping, there is an initial phase and a maintenance phase.
Initial Phase - We recommend you do cellulite cupping 5-10 Minutes per area 3-5 days a week for 2-4 weeks depending on your results. The more unhealthy state your fascia is in, the longer it will take to work through the layers and see results. You don't want to move to the maintenance phase until you are beginning to see results. Increasing the intensity of the cupping with each treatment as tolerated. This phase is to warm the tissue and begin softening layer by layer beginning with the superficial upper layers and working your way to the deeper layers. (Notice: Cupping is like Massage in the since that it stimulates your movement and drainage in your lymphatic system and if it overwhelms the lymphatic system, you may feel cold like symptoms. If you begin to notice cold like symptoms, you may want to skip a day or two and allow your system to filter all the buildup out. Also, if you skin begins to get irritated for any reason, you may want to hold off until irritation is gone. Drink plenty of water!
Maintenance Phase: Once you have achieved the results you are looking for, then it is time to switch to the maintenance phase. We recommend 3-5 Minutes per area 1-2 times a week ongoing.
Silicone Cups are notoriously less likely to cause bruising than hard plastic or glass cups, but it is always a possibility.
The massage gliding/moving cupping typically leaves less marks than static/stationary cupping where a cup is left in one spot for an extended period of time.
The likelihood of light bruising or bruising streaks on the skin is more prevalent once you begin cupping an area. Although you can minimize it my moving to a different location if you see pink or red blotches or streaks beginning to appear.
What is More Likely to cause Cupping Marks?
1. Deeper Suction- The deeper the suction the more likely to cause marks - Use lighter suction 2. Suction Cups used in one spot for longer period of time- Move the cups around 3. Cupping without first applying lubrication (Oil, Cream, Lotion. Body Wash)
Less is More! You don't want to dive in with deep suction without first softening the layers of tissue from Superficial Upper Tissues working your way down to deep cupping. Cupping should never be painful. If painful, lighten the suction and begin again and apply more lubricant if needed for a smooth glide.
Personal Use of Cupping for Varicose Veins is contraindicated. If you can avoid the varicose veins then you should be able to do the cellulite cupping, but if the veins would be unavoidable, then you should hold off on personal cellulite cupping.

This is easily the best set that I have purchased. The thickness of the plastic and durability of the rubber gaskets and vacuum sealer points is just as good TWO YEARS later as they were on day one. I have had 6 other different sets and none of them have been as good. HIGHLY recommend.
This material is pretty firm and allows you to get great suction, the XL opening allows you to pull plenty of tissue into the cup for bigger areas of the body like glutes, quads, hammies, lats, calves, infraspinatus on some people, and pecs. Will most likely get another set soon
As a Massage Therapist, I have my favorite oils and creams that are my go to's, but I'm always checking out new things. I needed to add additional cups so I decided to try out their new oil. I was very impressed. The ingredients in this oil are obviously high quality. Some are Organic, and they even added some expensive oils that blew my mind were in this price range. I called and talked to customer service to let them know I thought they did a great job with this oil and they told me the owner had been working for formularies for several years and wasn't going to come out with an oil until it was one that she couldn't live without. That really impressed me!. I guess that's what happens when a company is built around an individual who's quality of life was restored with cupping and who truly cares about only putting out the best for you and me.
I do a lot of stooping and bending over at work. By mid day, my low back is killing me. I saw these flip cups online and decided to try them. They are legit! Just after lunch, I pop these little suckers on my low back for about 5 minutes and I can usually make it the rest of the day with no pain and actually get to enjoy my evenings. Before, I was so miserable by the time I got off work that I didn't feel like doing anything in the evenings. Great product!
